We have recently been awarded a grant to pay for a planning expert to help us translate your thoughts into a series of planning policies.  Once these policies have been written, we will ask the wider Clapham community to review them. If necessary, we will then amend them.

Once we have a set of policies that have been approved by the community, we will submit them to Craven District Council and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority for approval and adoption into the wider Local Plan.

This process normally takes between two and three years. We are currently around one year into the process.
